They seem to embrace freedom, but in truth, they’re avoiding the risk that comes with genuine intimacy. 


Real love demands vulnerability; it asks us to face the discomfort of revealing our true selves and to be open to the possibility of pain. 


To truly connect with another, we must allow ourselves to be seen deeply—and let the other person reach into our depths as well. This kind of love isn’t casual; it’s a profound exchange that binds two people beyond the surface.


In our world today, it’s easy to stay on the run, avoiding commitment, hopping from one encounter to the next before emotions get involved. 


Many fear getting too entangled, afraid that the heartache will be too great if things fall apart. Yet, this avoidance keeps us from maturing, from discovering the courage and strength that come with real emotional risk.


Maturity in love doesn’t come from staying safe; it arises when we embrace the challenge, when we’re willing to face the complexities of true connection. 


Love, after all, is not for the faint-hearted. 


It’s a journey that teaches us resilience, empathy, and the depth of our own being.

What opens inside you when you're willing to entertain the possibility that things maybe different than you thought they were is what I call the great internal space; a place where you come to know that you don't know. This is really the entry point into the end of suffering: when you become conscious of the fact that you really don't know. I mean that you don't really know anything - that you really don't understand the world, you don't really understand each other, and you ... really don't understand yourself. This is such an obvious thing when we really take a moment and look around. When you look at the world that human beings have created and how we relate to each other, it's so obvious that we don't know anything at all. .
