Reflect and Let it go. 
No shame, no guilt, simply do not repeat choices that brought you here if it is NOW still hurting. 

True intimacy involves having the difficult and uncomfortable emotional communication (and easy conversations) that challenge our perception of who we are. 
That’s why so many people are afraid of it. 
Afraid to hear or speak or receive a gentle direct Truth. Of Their own True Nature. 
A Mutual Consciousness creates a simple, clear, calm inner space to be easily held for ANYTHING at all.

What opens inside you when you're willing to entertain the possibility that things maybe different than you thought they were is what I call the great internal space; a place where you come to know that you don't know. This is really the entry point into the end of suffering: when you become conscious of the fact that you really don't know. I mean that you don't really know anything - that you really don't understand the world, you don't really understand each other, and you ... really don't understand yourself. This is such an obvious thing when we really take a moment and look around.
