The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) and The Hashgraph Association are setting a new standard for innovation in the digital assets and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) space, both in Qatar and globally.
At the Qatar Economic Forum 2024, signing a $50 million Digital Assets Venture Studio marked a key milestone in cultivating a cutting-edge ecosystem for Web3 and DLT innovation.
QFCA and QFCRA jointly enacted the QFC Digital Assets Framework 2024 on 1st September 2024, a milestone establishing a comprehensive legal and regulatory foundation for tokenisation, smart contracts, and asset custody, ensuring compliance and security.

These regulations strengthen The Hashgraph Association’s role in fostering innovation and trust within the digital assets ecosystem, further solidifying the region's position as a global leader in fintech.

Within the next twelve months, The Hashgraph Association, together with various stakeholders, will explore implementing five innovative use cases, and this is just the start of things to come:
