You are looking everywhere except within you, and that is the only place where you are going to find the treasure, the truth, the beauty. There is no journey, there is no path. Already present, there is no choice, simply remove all that you are not and what remains? 
When the UNATTACHED mind is completely still, silent, there is a possibility of experiencing something not of the mind itself. 
Drop inherited mind attachments, ditch societal creeds and conditions, dismiss all that insults your soul or hurts your heart and what remains?
True Nature, your own. Surrender to your Self. 
From love, not for love. Intrinsic, NOT extrinsic. 
Give it all up, return to who you are before "The World" told you who to be. 
Fierce Grace, Wild Joy, Crazy Calm, Wicked Innocence as The Harm Less Mischief!  Why restrict your Self to other people's mind attachments and boring life limits? Why let others tell YOU who you are? Why be a people pleaser? Why be a perfectionist? Why be a procrastinator? Or worse, a counterfeit polly anna empath without discerning boundaries and higher standards?
Realise who you really are. (Before external mind none sense... was attached and conditioned from birth)
Realise what you DO NOT want. (limiting creeds, attached fixed non negotiable beliefs or stale, stuck BORING attached head over thinkers)
Realise what you deserve (Priorities of Wicked Discernment, wild style, fierce grace, crazy erudite elegance, sensual simple shared Whole True Nature)
AND drum roll please rock stars...
Do NOT settle for less...

What are you simply going to do with your one wild and natural life? Wait for God? Please others at your expense? Wait for the perfect moment to be fully ready? Roll over and people please? Try hard to be a perfect specimen? Telling others who to be or what to believe? Pontificating? Preaching? Projecting and mind attaching? 
Or are you going to Pay Attention?
To your own True Nature? 
Self care, self worth, self awareness, all within. 
Dig a little deeper and weed your own garden first. Remove all the sticky stuck mind attachments? 
Reduce all the boring barnacle beliefs and crowded creeds?
Dismiss anything that simply makes none sense...
to your own way of being, to your own soul. 
Commune in aligned communities. 
Create and co create and receive and share and listen and witness four times more than we speak. 
2 ears 2 eyes 1 mouth, creator's ratio with no attached mind reasons. This ONE simple moment is reality. Not living stuck way back then, not trying hard to control the future. Not depressed, not anxious. Live now, live fully, live wild and free and kind and considerate. Do not mind attach and think you know what is about to happen. Simply receive each moment for exactly what it is. Pay attention, feel the energy, Lead learners learn their lessons the first time. Share your co created fresh inner communal space with all comers. Heart to Heart, soul to soul, listen and receive. Drop all that you are not.

What opens inside you when you're willing to entertain the possibility that things maybe different than you thought they were is what I call the great internal space; a place where you come to know that you don't know. This is really the entry point into the end of suffering: when you become conscious of the fact that you really don't know.
