VentureBeat - Liithos partners with TikTok star Michael Le to market Web3 game Ashfall

Ashfall, an innovative narrative series linked to an upcoming video game title from AAA gaming studio Liithos has launched exclusively on TikTok. It is the first project from Liithos, a studio built by talent from titles including The Last of Us, Days Gone, and Uncharted. . The Ashfall narrative series will run every Sunday for five weeks to introduce fans to the lore of the upcoming Ashfall game. The narrative serves as the start of a fully actualized vision from Liithos, where all of the benefits of decentralization, social gaming, and narrative-led content collide. The narrative series is supported by partners including Web3 marketplace Coinzoom, and the HBAR Foundation, as the studio’s debut game will be built on the low-cost sustainable Hedera network.

Unlike many others within the legal sector, DLA Piper focuses on new technologies to offer more revolutionary and modern-day solutions, going beyond the traditional law firm offering. Nilmini highlights how industry leaders, Web3 organizations, and regulators can work together to rebuild trust in the crypto industry. AMB Crypto - Hedera’s [HBAR] latest report highlights growth in these areas

This week, the Hedera 2022 community report was published displaying the results of the network’s performance. According to the update, Hedera achieved approximately 530 million transactions during the year while reaching a speed of 18.98 transactions per second. In addition, the network brought its community together through a number of events and issued 195 grants targeting the expansion of its ecosystem. Overall, Hedera’s findings portray the positive state of the network despite the ongoing market challenges.

Gamers Grade also covered the newly released Ashfall narrative series this week, highlighting how it stars Michael Le, a TikTok influencer with 52 million followers. 99.5 Jamz - LG Art Lab Announces Collaboration with Sculptor Barry X Ball for New Series of NFTs and Physical Sculptures Debuting at Frieze Los Angeles 2023

Earlier this week, Hedera Governing Council member LG announced the advancement of its LG Art Lab platform through the launch of new artworks. This includes 4 NFTs and a 24-karat gold-plated sculpture by Brooklyn-based sculptor, Barry X Ball, to be released laterthis month. Both Barry X Ball and LG are committed to using new, sustainable technologies for creative endeavors, making Hedera the perfect fit to mint NFTs on. LG continues to be involved in a number of Web3-related initiatives since the initial release of its NFT platform. Last month, it added Hedera-based Blade Wallet to its NFT platform and focused on royalties.

This video posted on LinkedIn by Avery Dennison Smartrac calls attention to how the lack of integrity, risk of double counting, and inaccurate supply chain data has created mistrust in traditional carbon accounting and decarbonization practices. Avery Dennison’ product, atma.io, the world’s leading, connected product cloud, helps brands build trust and transparency to combat these issues, in partnership with Hedera. The technology helps to reduce and remove emissions to meet net-zero targets, for organizations operating at any scale.

CryptoFlies - LG Launches New NFT Series on Its LG Art Platform

In an article examining the expansion of Barry X Ball’s artwork on LG Art Lab, CryptoFlies outlined how each of the four animated NFTs made by the brooklyn artist will depict four metal variations – black steel, gold, copper, and silver – while immersing viewers in hyper-Baroque complex forms in a 39 second animation. The work utilizes LG’s OLED TV’s accuracy in presenting images, colors, and fine details. An on-site presentation of the NFTs is set to take place on February 16th in Frieze Los Angeles during a VIP preview day.
