So grateful for sincere traders, authentic locals, these wise life experienced folks, especially here at Christmas Time.

Noy trying hard to sell, or sign up members or offer  "free" community service to build email lists for post Christmas spam.

The shop keepers who really do care, the merchants who suggest with no hard sell, the trusted local business with no agenda and actually cross promote those who you or they may perceive as "competitors"

Thankful for one shop owner today who had one style of what I wanted but suggested I check out his opposition across the road before I committed to purchase.
Wow, that's cool, he could have tried hard sell, but he didn't.
He was open and honest and I will make his store my first option for future purchases,
He was not afraid of losing a sale, which he did, but he was being transparent with the request vis a vis the range and quality of the stock he specialises in. He didn't lie. When he could have.

What opens inside you when you're willing to entertain the possibility that things maybe different than you thought they were is what I call the great internal space; a place where you come to know that you don't know. This is really the entry point into the end of suffering: when you become conscious of the fact that you really don't know. I mean that you don't really know anything - that you really don't understand the world, you don't really understand each other, and you ... really don't understand yourself. This is such an obvious thing when we really take a moment and look around.
