Before The Heavens

A Fairy Light Welcome as we made our way out to Honeymoon Gap at White Gums
just outside Alice Springs, for the next creative inspiration of Desert Song Festival.
 
A performance of musical and poetic musing shared with
loved ones near and far beneath our Wonderous Milky Way.
 
Composer, Timothy Coghill and Creative Director, Amy Dwight, 
a string orchestra and Alice Springs choir presented a magical evening.  
 
Laying in the sand, nestled in our swags, rug pulled up to our chins,
eyes wide gazing upon the vastness of our glorious Milky Way,
a vibrant light was seen as a smiling crescent moon tonight.
 
An exquisite 90 minute performance as we drifted away on a surreal journey
combining natural bush sounds, strings, bells, gongs and sublime voice.
 
Surrendered to Sky, connected to earth,
we allowed ourselves to be enchanted by the
surrounding stillness of time and space.
A Yellow Shooting Star was the fitting and glowing encore.
 
The 2018 Desert Song Festival continues Our Happy Place.
Congratulations and Thank you to all who contributed to another
creative and magical evening.

What opens inside you when you're willing to entertain the possibility that things maybe different than you thought they were is what I call the great internal space; a place where you come to know that you don't know. This is really the entry point into the end of suffering: when you become conscious of the fact that you really don't know. I mean that you don't really know anything - that you really don't understand the world, you don't really understand each other, and you ... really don't understand yourself. This is such an obvious thing when we really take a moment and look around. When you look at the world that human beings have created and how we relate to each other, it's so obvious that we don't know anything at all. . Everybody's going around pretending like they really know things, pretending like they know what's real and what's not, pretending they know what's right, pretending they know who's wrong, ...

Mmmm GEE!  SPOT ON🤣 Sex doesn't mean much to her, emotional connection does. She can go forever without physical intimacy . Physical desire isn't her primary need.
